Kutchina, an established Indian kitchen appliances brand, is entering a new phase of growth by expanding beyond its traditional strength in chimneys and building a broader portfolio of kitchen solutions spanning chimneys, cooktops and small kitchen appliances.
As part of its expansion strategy, the company is also planning to open 25 new exclusive Kutchina stores across Odisha, strengthening its retail presence and bringing its expanded product portfolio closer to consumers across the state.
The expansion is part of Kutchina’s broader strategy to build a stronger presence in the Indian kitchen appliances market through technology-led innovation, portfolio diversification and an expanding retail footprint. The company is responding to changing consumer expectations, with modern kitchens increasingly seeking appliances that combine convenience, safety, intelligent functionality, efficiency and contemporary design.
“The Indian kitchen is evolving rapidly, and consumers today are looking for much more than individual appliances. They want technology, convenience, safety and design to come together seamlessly. Our expansion beyond chimneys into cooktops and small kitchen appliances is a strategic step in our journey towards becoming a comprehensive kitchen solutions brand. Odisha is an important market for us, and the planned addition of 25 exclusive stores will help us strengthen our consumer connect and make our wider product portfolio more accessible across the state,” said Namit Bajoria, Managing Director, Kutchina.
Kutchina’s journey in kitchen innovation began with its focus on simplifying chimney maintenance through its I-Auto Clean technology, which introduced automated cleaning and reduced the need for manual maintenance.
The company has simultaneously expanded its cooktop portfolio, combining contemporary aesthetics with safety and efficiency. Features such as auto ignition and flame failure devices are designed to make everyday cooking more convenient and secure. Alongside these categories, Kutchina is also building a curated portfolio of small kitchen appliances designed to cater to a wider range of everyday cooking and food-preparation needs.
The portfolio expansion marks an important evolution in Kutchina’s business proposition—from being primarily associated with kitchen chimneys to becoming a one-stop kitchen solutions provider. The company aims to serve consumers across different stages of their kitchen journey, whether they are setting up a new kitchen or upgrading an existing one.
The planned retail expansion in Odisha will complement this product diversification by creating dedicated consumer touchpoints for the brand. Kutchina already operates an exclusive showroom in Bhubaneswar, while its wider showroom network spans multiple Indian markets.
The expansion is supported by Kutchina’s manufacturing capabilities and focus on quality. At its manufacturing facilities, the company combines precision engineering, product development and contemporary design with quality and safety processes.
With technology-led innovation, portfolio diversification and retail expansion at the core of its strategy, Kutchina is looking to build a larger presence in the Indian kitchen appliances market and establish itself as a comprehensive kitchen solutions brand.
