Revenue Minister Reviews Flood Situation During Aerial Survey of Flood-Affected Areas

Paperman Media ( Bhubaneswar )- Hon'ble Minister, Revenue & Disaster Management, Shri Suresh Pujari conducted a comprehensive aerial survey of the flood-affected and waterlogged areas in Jajpur, Bhadrak, Baleshwar & Kendujhar districts by helicopter to assess the prevailing flood situation.

The Hon'ble Minister was accompanied by Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee, Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue & Disaster Management Department & Shri Rajesh Prabhakar Patil, Special Relief Commissioner (SRC), who also participated in the field assessment of the flood-affected regions.

It may be noted that earlier in the day, prior to the aerial survey, the Hon'ble Minister chaired a review meeting at Lok Seva Bhawan with the Collectors of all districts and the senior officers assigned to monitor the prevailing rainfall and flood situation. The meeting focused on preparedness, response measures & the evolving flood scenario across the State.
