This year (2026) too, "Odia Pakshya" will be celebrated with grandeur for 14 days from April 1st to 14th in every district of Odisha, starting from the capital Bhubaneswar.

Paperman Media ( Bhubaneswar)- On the call of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, the great festival of Odia identity - "Odia Pakshya" was celebrated for the first time in the entire state in the year 2025 to make the rich culture and traditions of Odisha a part of our daily lives. With the aim of re-globalizing the stories, stories, movements, food, drinks, clothing and culture of Odia homes, this year (2026) too, "Odia Pakshya" will be celebrated with grandeur for 14 days from April 1st to 14th in every district of Odisha, starting from the capital Bhubaneswar. Various programs will also be organized by various departments of the state government on this occasion.

All the details related to the celebration of Odia Pakhya have been provided on the Odia Pakhya-2026 website and app. During these 14 days of the celebration of Odia Pakhya, the Odia Pakhya website will feature traditional food, music and dance, cleanliness campaigns, various information about Odisha's art and culture, and various upcoming festivals in Odia Pakhya. Our Odia brothers and sisters can prepare reels and take selfies and upload them on the Odia Pakhya website. In addition, a quiz competition will also be organized on the Odia Pakhya website. All those who participated in the Odia quiz can also download their digital certificate and share it on their social media.
