Paperman Media (Sonepur)- A poster and essay writing competition on the theme “Tree of Life” was organized by the Sonepur Chapter of INTACH, an all-India organization working towards the preservation of art, culture, and heritage. The event was held at the auditorium of Sahara Trust High School, where around 30 students from Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya, Sahara Trust High School, Ideal Public School, PM Shri Maharaja High School, and PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya participated.

It is noteworthy that INTACH is organizing this All-India poster-making competition on the theme “Tree of Life” for students of classes 7 to 9. This initiative will help raise awareness among children, who are the torchbearers of the nation’s future, and will also support the organization’s prestigious global mission aimed at promoting the spirit of appreciation, exploration, and cultural education. A total of 100 talented participants will be awarded at the regional level, while 10 will be awarded at the national level. Additionally, all participants will receive certificates.

After the competition, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Pradyumna Kumar Sahu, Convener of INTACH Sonepur Chapter. The guests included retired Divisional Forest Officer and poet Sushil Kumar Tripathy, social worker Gatikrishna Mishra, and Ajit Kumar Meher, Regional Head of Punjab National Bank, Sambalpur. They shared their thoughts on the theme “Tree of Life.” The session was conducted by Co-Convener Banamali Panda, while Devaki Nandan Mishra delivered the vote of thanks. Among others present on the stage were Natyashri Gadadhar Barik and artist Duryodhan Meher.
