Gopabandhu Choudhury College Holds Induction Programme for +2 Freshers

Paperman Media (Bari)-  Gopabandhu Choudhury College, Ramachandrapur, Bari, Jajpur organised a combined Induction Programme for +2 Freshers (2026–27) and Parent–Teacher Meeting (PTM) at the Gopabandhu Lecture Theatre, welcoming newly admitted students and their parents.

The programme was chaired by Principal Prof. Prabodha Samal, who highlighted the importance of Samagra Shiksha and the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047. He encouraged students to develop knowledge, skills, values, adaptability, and a lifelong learning mindset.

Welcoming the gathering, Dr. Rabindra Kumar Jena, PTM Coordinator and Head of the Department of Philosophy, emphasized the vital role of parent–teacher collaboration in students' holistic development.

Faculty members conducted informative sessions on academics, health, career planning, digital safety, women empowerment, sanitation, scholarship schemes, and the Nishamukta Abhiyan. Prof. Meetanjali Mohanty, Prof. Bimal Jena, Prof. Rakhal Senapati, Prof. Sudipta Biswal, Shri Satyaswarup Das, Prof. Manoj Jena, Prof. Susila Nayak, Prof. Sasmita, and Prof. Basant Das addressed the students on their respective topics.

Several freshers appreciated the college's lush green, eco-friendly campus and vibrant academic atmosphere. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Narayana Ch. Sasini, who thanked the Principal, faculty members, parents, students, and staff for making the event a grand success and reaffirmed the college's commitment to nurturing responsible and future-ready citizens.
