Paperman Media ( Bhubaneswar )- The Higher Education Department has declared the result of the Common PG Entrance Test (CPET) 2026 for admission to postgraduate programmes for the Academic Session 2026–27.
Candidates who appeared for the entrance examination can check their results on the SAMS Portal.
According to the Higher Education Department, 58,613 candidates had registered for CPET 2026, while 53,901 candidates appeared for the examination. The entrance test was conducted for admission to 50 postgraduate programmes.
The Department further informed that 32,309 seats are available across 132 Higher Education Institutions under its administrative control for the Academic Session 2026–27. Admissions to postgraduate programmes will be based on the merit secured in CPET 2026.
The admission schedule for the postgraduate programmes will be announced soon on the SAMS Portal.

• Revised textbooks will soon be placed on the Department's website / OSEPA website for feedback from academicians and the general public. • Until the revised textbooks are supplied, corrected content will be shared with teachers to ensure that classroom teaching continues uninterrupted
