Paperman Media (Bhubaneswar )- Five Panchayats of Odisha selected for Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Panchyat Satat Vikash Puraskar (DDUPSVP). These are from 3 districts. One from Kendujhar, one from Sundargarh and 3 from Ganjam.
Padua GP of Champua block of Kendujhar district selected for water sufficient panchayat. Hatibandh GP of Lathikata bloc of Sundargarh district selected for clean and green Panchayat . Potalampur of Chhatrapur block of Ganjam selected for healthy panchayat. Similarly Mandar panchayat of Polasara block of Ganjam selected for socially just and socially secured panchayat.
In other hand Ganjam district also selected for best district panchayat.
Today Bijay Kumar Behera, economic advisor, Ministry of panchayatiraj, govt of India informed Girish S N, Commissiner cum Secretary Panchayatiraj and Drinking water department, govt of Odisha through a letter.
