Chandipur - India successfully conducted the test launch of the Medium Range Ballistic Missile (MRBM) Agni-4 from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur in Odisha on Thursday.
According to official sources, the missile was test-fired under the aegis of the Strategic Forces Command (SFC). The successful launch validated all operational and technical parameters of the missile system, reaffirming its reliability and accuracy.
The Agni-4 missile is a key component of India’s strategic deterrence capability and is designed to deliver payloads over long distances with high precision. The test demonstrated the missile’s readiness and operational effectiveness.
Defence officials stated that all mission objectives were achieved successfully during the launch, and the performance of the missile met the expected parameters. The successful test further strengthens India’s indigenous missile development programme and strategic defence preparedness.
