Paperman India editor Shashanka Sekhar Dash has been included in the World Excellence Book of Records

Shashanka Sekhar Dash, who has introduced himself as Paperman India by collecting newspapers, has already entered his name in the Guinness World Records. He has already entered the Credence World Records for his collection on Atalji.

Paperman Media (Bhubaneswar)-  Paperman India editor Shashanka Sekhar Dash has been included in the World Excellence Book of Records for having the largest collection of various items related to former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The certificate was issued in his name on the 1st of this month, the World Excellence Book of Records official informed him through an email yesterday. His collection includes newspapers, magazines, books, philately items, Rs 100 commemorative coins and other rare memorabilia. It is reported that he has received this prestigious World Records as he has a total of more than 500 items.

It may be mentioned here that on the occasion of Atalji's birth centenary celebrations on 25th December 2025, in collaboration with BJP Odisha branch, an exhibition named Atalnama was organized by Paperman India Sashanka at BJP Party Bhubaneswar office. The exhibition was inaugurated by the Honorable Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Mohan Charan Majhi. The event was attended by Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Kanak Bardhan Singh Deo, State President, Manmohan Samal, Jajpur MP, Dr. Rabindra Narayan Behera and many other dignitaries. The people present appreciated the collection and promised to cooperate with the collection in the coming days. Everyone was happy to see the newspapers of the day when Atal Bihari Vajpayee was sworn in as the Prime Minister.

Shashanka Sekhar Dash, who has introduced himself as Paperman India by collecting newspapers, has already entered his name in the Guinness World Records. He has already entered the Credence World Records for his collection on Atalji. He has been demanding that a special newspaper museum be established in Odisha. If the government establishes it, he has informed that he will donate all the newspapers he has collected. It is worth noting that Shashanka  Sekhar Dash is the son of retired headmaster Shri Dolagobind Dash, a resident of Arangabad, Bari block, Jajpur district. He has recently built the Dolagobind Newspaper Museum and Research Center in his village in the name of his father.
