Paperman Media ( Bhubaneswar)- The Bhubaneswar Chapter of the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) held its first Annual Meeting on 28th of this month. The meeting witnessed the participation of nearly 30 members, while several confirmed and interested members were unable to attend due to work commitments and unavoidable last-minute engagements.
As this was the first meeting after a considerable gap, the session was designed to be interactive, informal, and focused on strengthening the chapter's internal network.
Co-Convenor Dr Adyasha Das welcomed the members and introduced the newly appointed Convenor, J.P. Jagdev. During the meeting, new members were warmly welcomed into the INTACH family.
Addressing the gathering, Convenor J.P. Jagdev shared his vision and roadmap for revitalizing the Bhubaneswar Chapter. He expressed his commitment to transforming the chapter into one of the state's most vibrant heritage organizations through active participation, collaboration, and support from its members.
He emphasized the need to establish strong and transparent organizational management systems to ensure efficiency and accountability. His roadmap includes strengthening engagement among members, promoting teamwork, building stronger relationships with stakeholders, and expanding the chapter by inducting talented and enthusiastic new members.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for members to share valuable suggestions on enhancing the chapter's outreach and activities. Several participants recommended holding such interactive meetings more frequently to foster greater collaboration and momentum. The Convenor assured members that all constructive suggestions would be carefully considered in the chapter's future plans.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to the Chair, marking a renewed beginning for the INTACH Bhubaneswar Chapter and its mission to promote and preserve Odisha's rich cultural and heritage legacy.
