52nd Junior national aquatic championship 2026 (Swimming )

Paperman Media (Bhubaneswar )- The 52nd Junior National Aquatic Championship 2026 kickstarts today morning at the Aquatic Centre, Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar. This prestigious event is being organised by the Odisha State Swimming Association jointly with the Department of Sports & Youth Services under the aegis of Swimming Federation of India. A total number of 576 swimmers across 28 states and Union Territories are participating in this prestigious event.

The Championship was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Dr. Yeddula Vijay, IAS, Director of Sports who declared the Championship open. Among others were present Mr. Monal Choksy, Secretary General of Swimming Federation of India and President of the Odisha State Swimming Association Pradip Kumar Padhee, Mr. Balraj Sharma, Mr. Rajkumar, Vice-President of Swimming Federation of India and Mr.Chintan Patel.

The six days event was commenced in the morning hours and  the final events were held in the evening hours.

RESULTS ( Day-1)

On day one Karnataka leads the Medal Tally with a total of 16 medals following close is Maharashtra with a tally of 11 medals.
