Odisha’s Travel Map Gets Bigger for the coming tourism season : IRCTC Unveils Exciting Holiday Packages from Bhubaneswar

Paperman Media ( Bhubaneswar )- Travellers from Odisha now have a wider choice of domestic, international, pilgrimage and rail-based holiday options, with the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) with its Regional Office, Bhubaneswar, expanding its tourism offerings with a range of affordable and professionally managed packages.

Today in a press conference Anuj Dutta, Regional head, Dr Kranti P Sawarkar, Regional Manager IRCTC and Sanghamitra Roul, Sr Executive elaborated these facilities. 

As a Navratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, IRCTC is positioning its Bhubaneswar office as a one-stop tourism solution for travellers seeking convenient and hassle-free holidays.

The newly announced domestic air packages cover popular destinations including Kashmir, Kerala, Kedarnath-Badrinath, Arunachal Pradesh, Pinda Daan Yatra, Sanchi-Pachmarhi, Ayodhya, Gujarat, Meghalaya, Maharashtra, Hornbill Festival, Royal Rajasthan and Andaman. Package prices start from around ₹38,000–₹42,000 for several destinations, while the Royal Rajasthan and Amazing Andaman packages are priced from ₹75,000 and ₹70,345 respectively.

IRCTC has also introduced international tour options, including Ramayan Trails of Sri Lanka, Thailand Durga Puja Special, Singapore-Malaysia with cruise and Vietnam. The Sri Lanka package starts at ₹69,995, while tentative prices for Singapore-Malaysia and Vietnam are ₹1.50 lakh and ₹1.25 lakh respectively.

For those preferring rail travel, packages include Puri-Ayodhya-Varanasi, Western Odisha, Omkareshwar-Mahakaleshwar and Baidyanath-Basukinath Holy Trail. Prices start from ₹10,235 for the Western Odisha package and ₹20,000 for the Puri-Ayodhya-Varanasi and Baidyanath-Basukinath packages.

According to IRCTC, the packages combine accommodation, meals, transportation, sightseeing, travel insurance and applicable taxes, along with professional tour management. Customized and group tours are also available.

With convenient departures from Bhubaneswar, IRCTC said the initiative aims to make travel more accessible while offering reliability, value for money and complete holiday convenience to people of Odisha.
