Memorial Lecture and meeting organized on the death anniversary of Punyatma Gopabandhu Choudhury

Paperman Media (Bari)- A memorial Lecture and meeting was organized on the occasion of the 68th death anniversary of the Punyatma Gopabandhu Choudhury at Gopabandhu Choudhury College at Bari Ramachandrapur of Jajpur district, which is named after him on 29th April 2026.

The Memorial lecture and meeting was presided by Prabodh Samal, Principal of the college. Dr. Santosh Tripathi, Retired Professor, Department of Odia Language and Literature, Utkal University, Vanivihar, was the chief guest in this memorial lecture organized on “Sneha Matira Manisha: Jana Sevara Prateek” – Gopabandhu Choudhury. Dr. Pravanjan Pati, as the keynote and Chief speaker.

Both Chief Speaker and Chief Guest spoke about the life, struggle, independent movement and unique contribution to society of the Saint. Educationist, social worker Brundaban Samal and  Yudhishthir Jena, member of Bari Gopabandhu-Ramadevi Ashram, were present as special guests. They expressed their experiences and opinions. 

Before the memorial lecture and meeting all of the present took Tila Tarpana in the Bramhani river and resolved to follow in his footsteps to remembering the ideals, service and simple lifestyle of the saint Gopabandhu Choudhury.
