Bhubaneswar- Continuing its excellent march as the No. 1 digital service provider in Odisha, Reliance Jio has added the highest over 1.61 lakh new mobile and home broadband subscribers in the state in the month of April 2026. As per the latest telecom subscription data, released by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), over 1.43 lakh new mobile subscribers and over 17000 new home broadband subscribers joined the Jio network in Odisha, in April 2025. Overall mobile subscriber base in Odisha increased by over 2.52 lakhs in the month of April, taking the total mobile subscriber base in Odisha to 3.84 crores.
Reinforcing its market leadership in the home broadband segment in the state and powered by the immense popularity of JioFiber and JioAirFiber across the state, Reliance Jio added over double new home broadband subscribers than its nearest competitor.
With this, Jio has further consolidated its market leadership in all three segments - wireless, wireline and Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) in Odisha. As the No. 1 digital service provider in the state, Jio now has the highest around 1.8 crore mobile subscribers, 3.76 lakh JioFiber subscribers and 3.9 lakh JioAirFiber subscribers. Driving digital inclusion in thousands of villages across the rural hinterlands of Odisha, Jio has made high speed broadband connectivity available at their doorsteps.
As per TRAI data, nationally, Jio added over 29 lakh new mobile subscribers and over 5.71 lakh new home broadband subscribers including 1.42 lakh new JioFiber over 4.29 lakh new JioAirFiber subscribers in April 2026.
