Paperman Media (Bhubaneswar )- Shri Prafulla Samal, President of the Biju Shramik Samukhya and former Minister, has fallen ill and has been admitted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar for treatment. As per the direction of BJD President and Leader of Opposition Shri Naveen Patnaik, a Biju Janata Dal (BJD) delegation visited the hospital and enquired about his health condition.
As Shri Samal's condition is critical, he has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where treatment is continuing. The BJD delegation held discussions with the attending doctors to ensure that he receives the best possible medical care and wished him a speedy recovery.
Similarly, the mother of former Minister Shri Chandrasarathi Behera has also fallen ill and is undergoing treatment at a private hospital. The BJD delegation also visited her, discussed her health condition with the doctors, and wished her a speedy recovery.
The BJD delegation comprised Senior Vice President and former Minister Shri Debi Prasad Mishra, Senior Vice President and former Minister Smt. Pramila Mallik, Vice President and former Minister Shri Sanjay Dasburma, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Subhashish Khuntia, Chandabali MLA Shri Byomkesh Ray, Bhandaripokhari MLA Shri Sanjib Mallik and Puri District President Shri Umakanta Samantaray, among others.
