Paperman Media (Bhubaneswar)- A joint meeting was convened today under the chairmanship of Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Minister of Agriculture & Farmers' Empowerment and Energy, Shri Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, along with Hon’ble Minister, Works, Shri Prithviraj Harichandan, to expedite road widening projects and ensure close coordination between the Energy & Works Departments for simultaneous utility shifting works.
Hon’ble Dy CM Shri Singh Deo directed both Energy & Works Departments to complete the projects within the targeted timeline. He stressed on seamless inter-departmental coordination to avoid delays and ensure smooth execution of works.
Hon’ble Works Minister Shri Prithviraj Harichandan emphasized timely completion of road widening works and assured full support from the Works Department for coordinated execution with utility shifting, so that public convenience is not affected during the project period.
Both Departments reiterated their commitment to work together to avoid any delay and ensure smooth execution without compromising safety standards, statutory compliance, and quality of work.
ACS, Energy, Shri Vishal Kumar Dev; Principal Secretary, Works, Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh; CMD, OPTCL Shri Bhaskar Jyoti Sarma; CEOs of all four DISCOMs; EIC (Electrical); senior officers from Energy, Works Department, R&B, and NHI attended the meeting and presented their views on the matters discussed.
