Paperman Media (Bhubaneswar )- IGNOU Regional Centre, Bhubaneswar organized a blood donation camp on 16th April 2026 as a part of the Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations fortnight ( 14th April -28th April 2026). This was organized in collaboration with Capital Hospital Blood Bank. 20 units of blood were collected on this occasion and handed over to Capital Hospital Blood Bank, Bhubaneswar. Dr. M K Dash, Sr. Regional Director was the 1st to donate blood. Deputy Director Dr. P K Jena, Deputy Registrar Sh, Sanzaya Patel, other staff members of IGNOU Regional Centre and Regional Evaluation Centre, Bhubaneswar, Academic Counsellors Dr. Raghunath Mandal, also donated blood on the occasion. Dr. Niharika Honhoga, Sh, Sarada Kanta Choudhury and other staff members from Capital hospital blood bank provided technical support in the collection of the blood units.

Dr. Bimal Chandra Nanda, Deputy Director, Dr. S K Panigrahi, Additional Director, Dr. P K Jena Deputy Director, Assistant Registrar Sh. Banamali Sahu, other officials of the Regional Centre and Asst Coordinator Dr Binay Mohapatra, , Sh. Ayushman Choudhury actively coordinated the Programme.
