Paperman Media (Bhubaneswar)- A Review Meeting for General Managers of District Industries Centers (GM-DICs) held at O-HUB conference hall, Bhubaneswar today. The meeting, chaired by Shri Gokulananda Mallik, Hon’ble Minister for MSME & F&ARD, focused on evaluating the achievements of the previous fiscal year and finalizing the Annual Action Plan for the year 2026-27.
Acknowledging the sector's vital role in the state's economy, the Minister directed DIC General Managers to proactively address field-level concerns. All departmental offices were advised to implement quarterly action plans to ensure 100% budget utilization. Timelines were also set for the swift disposal of pending policy cases.
The Minister emphasized "Ease of Doing Business" and urged field functionaries to provide immediate hand-holding support to young entrepreneurs. The meeting concluded with a call to align state efforts with the VIKSIT ODISHA @ 2036 & VIKSIT BHARAT-2047 goals through district-level performance tracking led by District Collectors.
The session was attended by Ms. Rashmita Panda, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, MSME, Smruti Ranjan Pradhan, MD, OSIC; and other senior officials.
