Bhubaneswar- An event was organized to provide information about traffic rules to two lakh students of about 500 schools in Bhubaneswar, capital of Odisha and to make them comply with traffic rules properly. The program was named Traffic Rules Awareness Program. The program was completed at different times in different schools of the capital even before school started.
The guests present in this gave detailed information about the importance of traffic rules and after reading the affidavit, they administered an oath to comply with the traffic rules. According to the news, this program has been followed in schools like a celebration. Apart from police administration, social workers, ministers and legislators also supported this program. In this program, the guests gave detailed information about social responsibility to the students and administered an oath to them for discharging social responsibility. This oath was done in Odia and English.
Director General of Police, Commissioner of Police, Traffic Police Officer along with Administrative Officer, Politician and Social Service were also present on the occasion. The guests arrived at the program within the stipulated time and also reached the right time and sent a message to the children to comply with the time. This program has also been appreciated by the Odisha Parent Association.
On this occasion, the organizer of the program Basudev Bhatt has said that education means improving the system. Bhatt said that this organization is functioning properly in 7 out of 30 districts in the state. All preparations were done online. The event took full help of social media WhatsApp, Facebook. The contribution of the members of the organization in making this program a success has been commendable.
