Rourkela- There is a huge rush of trains these days for the upcoming Chhath Puja. For this, many organizations have been demanding the running of Chhath Special train from Jharsuguda and Rourkela in West Odisha. Even after this, so far no attention has been given by the South-Eastern Railway towards this demand every year. But this time the East Central Railway, ECR has taken pride of North Indians. With regard to Chhath Puja, not one, but two special trains have been started. With this, people of Odisha, Jharkhand and Bihar will also get the benefit of these two trains.
ECR has announced the first special train for Chhath Puja, the festival of folk faith. After leaving from the fort at 4 pm on October 31, the train will reach Patna at 12.30 pm on November 1. Similarly, this train from Patna will open for the fort on November 3 at 8.45 pm and reach the fort next day at 7.10 pm. Apart from this train, Durg-Patna second Chhath Puja special train has been started on October 30. This second train will leave Patna from Durg at 4.00 pm on 30 October and reach Patna the next day at 11.45 am on 31 October. On the same day, this train will return to the fort at 12.30 pm and reach the fort at 9.45 am the next day. Both these trains will run on the routes of Durg, Raipur, Bilaspur, Champa, Raigarh, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Hatia, Ranchi, Muri, Bokaro Steel City, Chandrapura, Gomo, Koderma, Gaya, Jehanabad, Patna. There is a stoppage at Rajabera in the train of 31 October, but there will not be a stoppage at Rajbera for the train of 30 October.
