In such a situation, if you are changing the city or changing the place, then it is important for you to update the Aadhaar card. The sooner this work changes the city, the more convenience you will have. Although many types of changes can be made in Aadhaar, but there are many such updates which require documents and there are many such updates for which no documents have to be given. For this, you just have to go to your nearest base center.
Document is not necessary for such updates
If you have to update the photo, finger print, iris scan, gender, mobile number and email in your Aadhaar card, then you do not have to provide any type of document for this. For this, you have to take an appointment at the nearest Aadhaar center by taking a copy of your Aadhaar and according to your needs, things get updated in the Aadhar card.
Document required for such updates
There are some such changes in Aadhaar in which you have to present the relevant document. If you want to update the name, address and your date of birth in your Aadhaar, then you have to provide a valid document for this. Without this, these updates cannot be done in your base.
It takes charge
When you go to update Aadhaar at Aadhaar center, keep in mind that you have to pay 50 rupees + GST charge for demographic changes. Apart from this, if you have to do biometric updates, then you have to pay 50 rupees + GST charge.
Also, for Aadhaar search (e-KYC, color print out etc.), you will have to pay 30 rupees + GST charge. Fresh base is absolutely free to make. Apart from this, the biometric required is also updated for free.
