New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government formed in Haryana on the day of Diwali. Manohar Lal Khattar took oath as Chief Minister of the state for the second time. Governor Satyadev Narayan Arya administered him the oath of office and secrecy. At the same time, the leader of the legislative party of Jananayak Janata Party (JJP) Distant Chaitanya which supported the BJP to form the government, was sworn in as the Deputy Chief Minister. Dushyant Chautala’s father Ajay Chautala also arrived for the swearing-in ceremony. Former Punjab CM and Akali leader Prakash Singh Badal and his son Sukhbir Badal also attended the swearing-in ceremony. BJP acting president JP Nadda also arrived for the oath taking. Today only Manohar Lal Khattar and Dushyant Chautala took oath.
