Simultaneously, there is a possibility of heavy to heavy rains in districts located on the southern Odisha coast. He said that rain will start in all districts of coastal Odisha from May 2. Rainfall will occur in all the districts of coastal Odisha on 3 and 4 May. With this, there will be strong wind in coastal Odisha. Fishermen have been instructed not to go to the sea. Special relief commissioner Vishnupad Sethi has said that by May 3, the cyclonic storm Fani can hit Odisha coast. So the District Collectors of coastal districts have been asked to be vigilant. ODRAF, NDRF and fire brigade personnel will be sent there already. People affected will be transferred to a safe place. May 2 is expected to rain on the third day and on May 3. On seeing the storm, the Chief Medical Officer of all the districts has been instructed to be ready by the Department of Health. The control room has also been asked to open.
