Paperman India got his third Limca Book of Records – 310319

LBR Certificate-2019

Bhubaneswar- Before the celebration of Utkal Divas Shashanka Sekhar Dash, popularly known as Paperman India (Earlier Paperboy Shashanka) got his 3rd Limca Book of Records certificate today. He got his certificate for Indian Record of Largest newspaper collection in different title. Till today he collected more than 6000 newspapers of 4235 different titles. These are from 96 countries and 92 languages. But till the last date of LBR application the collection was 3584 different titles with 66 languages and 76 countries.

Earlier he got Limca Book of records for Largest Single day newspapers collection and Most Indian daily collection. He also awarded by India Book of Records for the same.After he got the certificate he thanks to Vatsala Kaul Banerjee, Editor Limca Book of Records and editorial team of Hachette Book publishing India Pvt Ltd. He also thanks to all the supporters and well wishers.

To preserve the newspapers Shashanka started a newspaper museum in his father’s name at his village. He hope Dolagobinda Newspaper Museum and Research Center will help to the researcher, Journalist, Journalism student and enthusiastic. And it will help a lot to rural folk. He started the newspaper collection in the year 2001. Then nobody hope newspaper is a collectable. But now so many people are engaged in collecting newspapers.
